State-of-the-art flight simulators

In the first place, CAE arrived in Spain in 2001 opening a flight simulator center of the latest FFS technology (Full Flight Simulator) in Madrid. That continued to grow until in 2004 it reached a joint venture agreement with Iberia. Concentrating all the simulators and training equipment in a center next to the Madrid Barajas Airport. (Adolfo Suarez, in the Polígono Industrial de La Muñoza). So, currently, 9 flight simulators of the latest FFS technology are operating (6 Airbus – A320 / 330/340, 1 CR-J200 / 900/1000, 1 Dash 8 and 1 Dornier328). In addition to having the most complete facilities for the training of cabin crew (airplane models, ramps, rafts, fire and smoke booth). The company added an ATR72-600 simulator, an Airbus A350 FFS and even a B787 FFS in October 2017 at the Madrid facilities to meet the demand of Southern European air operators. In addition, CAE opened a training center in Barcelona in 2012, located in Parc de Negocis Mas Blau II. Where pilots and cabin crew of Vueling Airlines are trained. These facilities have the capacity to annually train more than 600 pilots and 1,000 cabin crew. It already has two full-flight A320 flight simulators. An A320 door and window cabin and trainer simulator. A ramp, a fire cabin and a set of classrooms. It also offers training for Boeing 737NG in Palma de Mallorca, at the Air Europa operations center.
